With the "L" series textile dye from DEKA, textiles can be dyed wonderfully in the washing machine or batiked in a dye bath. The dye is suitable for both techniques. The following applies to both techniques - only natural fabrics can be dyed and no synthetic fibres. The fabrics must be free of finishes. With DEKA-Textilfit you can remove the finish without any doubt if you are not sure whether the finish has been washed out completely. Stains and scuffed areas are not covered or removed by DEKA Series "L". Only with flawless fabrics you will get an optimal result. Use the dye to refresh the colours of your textiles or to dye them completely new. Light fabrics can only be dyed over with darker shades. A water temperature of 60°C is optimal for the colour result if the fabrics can be washed at this temperature. Colder dyeing is possible under certain conditions. Please read the respective instructions carefully for best results. Deka textile dye "L" does not contain a fixing agent and is neither lightfast nor boil-proof without fixing. It is therefore recommended to fix the dye with Deka after-treatment agent No.111. Afterwards, the dye is machine-washable up to 30 C°. The dyed clothes should always be washed separately. The colours can be mixed with each other and are also intense and bright due to their high pigmentation. For dyeing in the washing machine, table salt is also needed.
